Description

The woven patterns are blue or yellow on a white background ! Very graphic they will put an Asian atmosphere in your living room. They are traditional flower motifs from the village Na Sang 1 where the weavers live, they are traditionaly used for blankets, cushions ...

The fibers of local coton (original seed that does not require water or chemicals) were spun by hand and then dyed with plants from the forest: indigo and ash water for blue & turmeric and tree bark for yellow).

The yellow cushion was woven by Giot and the blue cushion by Doi.

They were assembled in France, in the workshop Fer et Refaire, which employs women in rehabilitation in Seine Saint Denis.

COMPOSITION & CARE

  • Cotton cushion cover is sold with its interior cushion made in the Jura region from microfibre made of siliconised polyester fibre.
  • White zipper
  • Colours: blue and white (natural dyeing based on indigo leaves and limestone) or yellow and white (exceptionally a small quantity of chemicals was used for this colour, this will not be the case on the upcoming collections). The washing water can be coloured at the beginning, this is normal because the dyes are handmade, and almost natural.
  • Dimensions: 30 x 50 cm or 40 x 50 cm
  • Dry wash recommended or hand wash with cold water and white vinegar, dry inside out.
As this product is handmade, there may be some manufacturing defects.
